About Kevin Taylor, JD, MBA

Kevin Taylor, JD, MBA began his career as a Trust Officer in one of the foremost private banks in the world where his commitment to customer service and a passion for results created the perfect environment to forge a specialty in tax mitigation through strategic long-term planning.  Kevin later applied his private banking experience as a business leader in several small to mid-sized businesses at various stages of growth.  Kevin’s deep commitment to customer service and his formal financial training allowed him to hone organizational margins while shaping and improving the consumer experience.

Kevin’s first-hand experiences uniquely position him to understand the needs of high-performing individuals and businesses as they operate in a world increasingly driven by taxation and serviced by an industry built on putting “the right numbers in the right box.”  In a system where generations of professionals have viewed taxes retroactively while largely sacrificing the opportunity to proactively plan into the future, true tax planning is often a difficult service to obtain. True generational wealth requires not only earnings, but maintenance, protection, and transition.  Taxation and intra-family disputes are two of the largest hurdles to creating, and ultimately transitioning, true generational wealth.

Kevin graduated from Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business as a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Trust, Wealth & Investment Management minoring in Financial Planning, Master of Business Administration, and holds a Certificate in Trust.  Kevin earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law.  During law school, Kevin was privileged to commit an academic year interning with what he believes to be “the best Probate Court in the country” observing numerous probate actions and multiple jury trials centering on intra-family probate disputes.  Kevin has extensively researched and written in the areas of estate tax, guardianship/conservatorship, probate administration, and probate planning.   Kevin has invested a career gaining the education, skills, and experience necessary to help you optimize your tax strategy to plan, build, and transition generational wealth.
