About Adam Lusthaus, JD, LLM
For nearly two decades, Adam has guided individuals, closely-held businesses, and nonprofit organizations through the complexities of estate and tax planning, business succession strategies, and IRS audits and tax controversies.
He has represented clients in federal and state tax matters, counseled on entity formation and lifecycle events, and developed sophisticated estate plans to minimize transfer taxes and integrate business entities. Adam has also presented for Lorman Educational Services and is an active member of both The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association’s Tax Section.
Adam holds an LL.M. in Tax & Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (where he was an editor of the American Criminal Law Review), and a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Dartmouth College. He is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and the U.S. Tax Court.
